I am totally behind on sharing all the remodeling updates because, ya know, life! Recently we finished Easton’s bathroom remodel.
When we moved in, his bathroom was boring and plain. I didn’t think he would appreciate bold and pink so I went with a bold black and white color palette. Can you believe there is a room in my home without pink? LOL.
First, here are some photos from before we started the remodel
I knew this black and white theme would be perfect for a distinguished and masculine Gentleman’s bathroom. My daughter Ava and I went to a local tile company in Platte City, MO called Wilson’s Flooring and put together the look.
We hired Dale Ashelford from Ashelford Construction to do the bathroom remodel. He took out the existing vanity and put in one that was 6 inches taller, and much more up to date. I love that the vanity came with the top and faucet too! Here is a link to the vanity.
The shower is the boldest part of the bathroom with the white pentagon tile surround, pattern tiled flooring and shelf, and paneled sliding glass door. IT’S AMAZING, so bold and masculine! The glass panel door is from Home Depot.
I used “Rub’nBuff” to roughen up the mirror. It is from Amazon. The mirror is 40inx30in and from Lowe’s. I love how it turned out.
The doors were originally white, we had them painted in Pewter Cast just like the rest of the doors in the upstairs and main level. Check out this blog post for all the details on our doors: Gray Interior Doors.
Of course we filmed the big reveal. Easton’s reaction is the best. NOTE the proud smile on Ava’s face!
A black and white Gentlemen’s theme was the perfect way to bring this bathroom to life and bring the Allwood bold glam style to Easton’s bathroom!
