This farm table was for sale at a store called Bella Patina in the West Bottoms in Kansas City many years ago. I saw it on Facebook, where all good things are seen by the way, and was obsessed with it!!
I loved it so much I went down to Bella Patina and stood in line to make sure I was the first in line to buy that table!
I talked to the gentleman that made it and he told me the story, and I think… because let’s face it, #menopausebrain, was that the table was made from a sign that was originally in the Joplin Missouri area and was knocked down during the tornado.
He made it into a table and I love love love it. So when he originally made us the table it came with a bench. Here’s what it originally looked like in my old dining room!
The problem was the bench was a little bit hard on the butt!
So we decided to switch the bench for four pink stools from Nebraska Furniture Mart. You can find some similar ones from West Elm.
The stools are a tiny bit lower than a regular chair, but it’s okay, they work!! The guys from the football team love sitting on them and the good news is that they hide peanut butter and jelly fingers from my five-year-old. 😆
My friend Deb, the designer, bought the three high back chairs, or similar ones, from Emerald Home. You could also find something similar at World Market. I love the rustic wood paired with the velvet stools!
I layered the pink table running on top of a blue and white checkered one for a fun and glamorous texture. You can find a similar blue table runner here.
This fun white feather was the perfect farm table centerpiece and is from Hobby Lobby.
I love love love this table with the cute pink stools. It’s the perfect blend of rustic and glam. If you loved this post, you’re gonna want to check out my colorful and glamorous dining room.
