I have painted all of my kitchen cabinets, including the island, black. In the open floor plan of our house feels like too much black. Thinking of painting island a color similar to this one. Can’t wait to see the finished product. Want to do some glazing to make the whole project look less like it was just painted. Impatiently waiting…
After being reminded by Renee at http://nouveaunotsoriche.blogspot.com, I was scouring your blog for a pic of the completed turquoise island you fauxed and that she is coveting. Not a pic to be found. Then, later, read your comment re: posting so-so pictures. I say go for it. I wonder if we are critical about pictures of our personal projects in the same manner that we are critical of pictures of ourselves. Our flaws make us beautiful. But I’ll be the first to admit I would gladly airbrush a zit or waggy skin off my pics any day! That all being said….PLEASE post the pics!
You are one talented lady….love your work….can’t wait to see the finished product….
