My dear friend Laura picked up this sweet end table up at a garage sale for $10. She asked me if I would help her faux it and came over last weekend for a paint party.
Ava got in on the “mixing glaze action” in one of her go-go dresses.
We painted it cream, distressed it and glazed it. Viola.
Isn’t it adorable?
If Laura’s other career in the O.R. doesn’t work out…. she may have a future in faux!
Buzz Lightyear gave it a thumbs up too.
In the spirit of “to infinity and beyond”…. we ended our paint party watching Laura’s husband fly down our hill on my boys newest toy…… an “Easy Roller” (also called “the deathmobile“).
He is wild at heart. Priceless.

so pretty! i love the finish- it went from blah to va-va-voom!
Beautiful! Looks lovely white!
And I totally had one of those “easy roller” when I was young! But it was was a roller racer. I loved it and did MANY a stupid things on them, which included laying on my stomach going down a huge hill on it. haha
1. LOVE the way the end table turned out!
2. Grown men on death mobiles are always entertaining in a freaky sort of way.
3. Your daughter’s costumes make me laugh every time you post photos of her. She. IS. Adorable!!
Great post!
It turned out so pretty!
You have the perfect street for those racer things!
Love it! It’s a distressed beauty

🙂
very pretty! great job
I love it!
The table turned out super. I love it. Hugs, Marty
Love that table Jenn! It is gorgeous! I am thinking of buying a drop leaf coffee table off the local site and painting her pertty. The Hubster would have a fit though. Your friend’s hubby is too funny! When I was growing up we lived by a street which was a HUGE hill. My God Brother came to visit and had his skate board and dared me to go down it sitting. He was old enough to know better and I was stupid enough to not care. Needless to say I ended up wrapped around a mailbox but I did indeed live and did indeed get fussed at!:)
Your little table turned out so pretty…a diamond in the rough.
You do wonders with furniture. I always love seeing your work! Amazing stuff.

I love this, you are so talented!
So beautiful. I love that little piece. Cream was a perfect choice — it looks dainty and feminine but not over the top. The transformation is amazing!
Beautiful! It looks amazing!

Hey how are ya?
I hope you have a great week. It looks like it has been hotter in KC than here in Fl.
