1. Black Bypass Barndoors

Of course I will start with my own barndoors! My black bypass barndoors separate my office from the foyer and provide some workspace privacy that I need with 3 wild children running around while momma is working from home. 

For months we were trying to determine how to cover the door opening so that I could easily record my podcast and record coaching classes, but there wasn’t room for a huge barndoor. Then we learned about BYPASS doors (they stack on top of each other when they are slid open) and this was the ticket! Genius!

Also, I am just obsessed with black everything right now and even painted my dining room ceiling black, which you can see here.

2. Hallway/Laundry Room Sliding Barndoor

Emily at Our House Now a Home solved a problem of an annoying swinging door into her small laundry room by building a sliding barndoor.

3. Crawl Space Barndoors

Mary at The Cofrane Home covered up her under the stairs crawl space hole with a cute sliding barndoor . How adorable is that????

4. Bleached Wood Barndoors

Sara from Twelve on Main wanted a custom barndoor with a unique bleached wood finish. She also has a great tutorial on how to build barndoors here too. And can we talk about her beautiful chalkboard wall????

Colleen from My Life on Kaydeross Creek built a mini barndoor to use as spring decor on her fireplace mantle. 

6. Round Barndoor for the Pantry

Lynn from LynnFern.com turned this salvaged round door to a bold red sliding door to her pantry. So fun!

7. Dutch Barndoor / Baby Gate

Cassity from Remodelaholic designed a Dutch Barndoor to double as a baby gate at the bottom of stairs.

Shara from Wood Shop Diaries made double barndoors to the entrance of her laundry room right off a main hallway.  I love her frosted glass!

9. Sliding Repurposed Door with Glass

Gail from My Repurposed Life made a sliding barndoor to her bathroom from a repurposed door with glass.  The words = so stinkin’ cute!
