And here is my new front door…….
Ya’ know….the one my husband asked “is this an ACCENT color or an ACCIDENT color?” God Bless him.
Here is the old door color. Burgundy. Or boring….whichever you prefer to call it.
I about passed out when I started the Sherwin Williams “June Day”…..
It feels like it says “welcome to my home”…..
Or “welcome to my brothel”……
One or the other.
It’s staying. I’m almost 40 and I can have a gaudy front door if I want to…..

I love it!! And, your flowers are gorgeous!
It looks awesome!
I want that front door!…I’m almost 50, if i don’t get “Gaughty” now, when am I?
What an amazing transformation!!!
I think it looks fabulous!
It does brighten up the entrance and looks great with the ivy.
I painted my front door yellow last spring, and I picked yellow because no one else in the hood had a yellow door! Check it out, http://myblog-bratti.blogspot.com/2010/05/lotta-blood-sweat-and-paint.html
Now I don’t feel so bad, I was thinking of changing the color. Thanks for sharing. 8>)
How fun and your flowers really bring it out!:)
I love your flowers and I am jealous of your containers, I have been looking for a couple of large containers to flank our garage door for quite some time and I just cant find what I want.
Too too cute! Brings a little sunshine…
Blessings!!
Way cool!!!
I love it. In fact if it were me I’d brush a little glaze with some gold mica over it to make it sparkle when you drive by. I mean if you’re going to stand out…….
Love it! I could so relate to how it looked when you put the first coat on. I was painting yellow over dark red too. We have a lot of walkers in our neighborhood and a lot of them I don’t know. I would watch them walk by and I could see the raised eyebrows and eye rolls. It looked so bad I hurried and put the second coat on before the first was even dry. I didn’t want the hubs to see it looking that bad. It almost had a tie dye effect until the third coat. Mine took four coats but I love love love it now and I’m with you. The neighbors be damned. 🙂

aw thats not bad at all!!!! i was thinking like sunshine yellow! looks good!
Love Love Love. The Front door is fab, and I love how you arranged everything in the pots. I’m inspired.
I love it, Jennifer, and I think it looks great with your flowers, too!
The yellow paint is much better than burgundy. It made your door look dazzling especially with the pink embellishment you put there. Also, it blends well with the growing flowers in pots nearby the door. I wonder what the current color of your front door is. It’s been two years, and I assume that you settle for a different color.
