Hey you sweet, sweet subscribers! I can’t thank you enough for subscribing to my posts and actually reeeeeeading what I have to say.  I big hug from me to you!

Ok so listen, the very #1 complaint I hear from my Facebook fans is that you hate your kitchens. The cabinets are old.  The cabinets are dated.  The cabinets are boring.  And THAT is why I created my DIY e-videos.  Life is too short to HATE the room in the house that the majority of the family spends the MOST time in.  Don’t you agree?

Kitchen cabinets are not HARD to paint….just time consuming.  I want to help you be brave enough to create a living space that you LOVE being in.

So, have you seen some of the before and after pics that my fans are sending me to post on Facebook?  These fans have used by videos to transform their kitchens.  I want you to see a few:

Paula R kitchen

Paula R. bought my cream cabinet video and TRANSFORMED her oak cabinets!  She gave that room an instant face lift!  So much prettier!

Holly Johnson used my Metallic Gray Cabinetry video to make this cabinet that her husband HANDMADE into a Restoration Hardware looking piece.  I’m in love!

PicMonkey Collage

Tracy Hoffman bought my Distressed Black cabinet video and updated her buffet….. And Teri Boosalis went all out by changing this dated kitchen:

She added rope molding, wooden appliques and used my “Cream Cabinets” video.  I am so proud!!!! GREAT JOB TERI!

Friends you CAN make your kitchen a room you love.  Or, start on a bathroom cabinet if you are intimidated.  Or, start on the laundry room cabinets if you are scared.  Start on YOUR FRIEND’S HOUSE if she is feeling froggy.  Just don’t go another day hating your home.  It’s just paint….not brain surgery!  If you “mess up”….it’s fixable!!!  I promise!

So,  I want to help you.  I’m putting my videos on sale Saturday, May 24th – Monday May 36 at midnight EST for 40% off with the code MEMORIALDAY at checkout.

So, I want you to go to my webpage HERE  and determine if you’d like to DARKEN your oak, PAINT your cabinets or paint something in a METALLIC.

Or, if you have garage doors that you would like to look like wood….. my Facebook fan Beverly Goad just sent me this picture that she did with my video on garage doors.  This is her BEFORE:

And AFTER: Garage Doors- Beverly Goad

So I want you to all go start shopping and have a MARVELOUS Memorial Day weekend.  If you order the video today, you can order supplies next week and have a new kitchen before the kids are out of school for the year!  The video is like having me right there in your kitchen with you.  I pinky swear.

Be sure to send me your before and after pictures.  I want to see what you do! I’m rooting for you.

Happy painting,

Jennifer

PS….don’t forget the code MEMORIALDAY is good for 40% off thru Monday May 26th at midnight EST. Start planning your kitchen remodel HERE.

Thanks, Jennifer! Your DIY video made it fun and EASY!!

Teri Boosalis (not Boolis…although that is a cool sounding name).

I’m looking for a product to antique my oak cabinets I’ve just painted a cream color. I only wanted to do crevaces to avoid changing the cream color. What do you suggest?

Hi Jennifer. I recently painted my kitchen a very light robin’s egg blue (sort of turquoise). I love it. I replaced the old curtain over the sliding door with a geometric chocolate and blue (almost same color as my new paint) and now I want to redo my plain builder’s oak cabinets from 14 years ago. I know that I want something more casual and a little beachy, but I hate plain white and I do not want to do cream. I am thinking something with a very light taupe in Benj. M. colors: Oatlands subtle grey, Dolphin fin, Gray Owl, or Gray Ghost (something in the taupe family- sort of a neutral grey color, but not tan). The problem is, I think I should glaze this to give it some subtle depth. I like the antiquing that accentuates crevices, but I want to avoid it looking dingy. I also want to off set my bar area with a darker color. Can you give me some tips.

I live in an older Dbl. wide mobile home with the cheap cabinets they aren’t real wood. So if I want to do something with them, what would you suggest? I thought about painting them Lt. grey or a taupe color. They are plain with no difinition, so I would like to add some trim or something. Sorry this is messy – I’m in a hurry. look forword to hearing from you soon. Bess R.
