My kids are little hot cocoa lovers and last weekend we were bracing for an ice storm/blizzard in Kansas City plus we were having a birthday party at our house, so we decided to put together a fun hot cocoa bar for the kids!
I already had the huge tray! This thing is so stinkin’ versatile. You can buy it on my affiliate link HERE and see how I styled it for a coffee station and decorated 4 ways in this article.
We found these huge mugs at the Dollar Tree and the fun pine tree stir sticks in the dollar bin at Target!
We bought as many things as we could at the Dollar Tree. This cute dish and chocolate chips, white chocolate chips and mini chips. Kids need choices. Lol.
We did peppermint sticks (because I wanted the pop of color!) and peppermint bark. Plus cinnamon sticks and candy canes.
Sprinkles and whipped cream are also a must!
We threw it all together with a cute little menu from Target’s dollar bin and it was done.
(For those of you asking about my kitchen cabinets and tile, the articles on those projects are HERE and HERE. )
Mr Magic and I made a fun video for you of us putting it together. And, meet my boys and their friends. Crazy teens!
A hot cocoa bar is a great addition to your kitchen for the winter ahead!
See the other four ways I styled this cute oval serving tray in my previous post.
XOXO,
Jen

What a fun project! I love the idea of hot chocolate on demand. 🙂
