DIY Lighted Stick for Christmas | Magic Brush

These lighted sticks are as good as my outdoor Christmas decor gets this year.

Just in time for Christmas… our weather has turned “frightful”… it’s single-digit degrees and we had our first snow day with 4 inches of snow.

But just 2 weeks ago… it was still gorgeous outside. Thank goodness I did more lighted stick creations then!

Look who got roped into helping me. Isn’t he cute digging holes in a tie?

Of course… Ava had to “help”.

You all know that “Help” really = clean up for mom. ****sigh******.

She’s too cute to be irritated.

Speaking of irritated… the “light fairies” apparently didn’t get the memo that I needed help sorting out the mess I must have left myself last January.

Seriously…. I didn’t put them away like that. I wonder if the “light-messer-upper”and the “sock stealer” are the same person???

These sticks are so cool. After Shauna and I had our original stick day, I found a house that cut down a tree and stole a bunch of limbs from the curb. They still have buds on them!

I am digging my garage sale sleds. Still searching for cheap ice skates to use out here also!

Ok… so I have ONE.MORE lighted sticks arrangement. Then, I swear I am done. Please call for an intervention if you see me touch one more stick.

The lighted sticks are in my master bedroom…It’s fun to have just a little Christmas decor in the room.

I hope your holiday season is more relaxed than mine seems to be right now. I feel overwhelmed with shopping, decorating, a bath remodel and another child’s birthday this week. Whew…. I will need a break after the Christmas break!

Miss you all and hope to blog more soon!

Merry Christmas!

love the sticks! I have sticks year round in my great room – super tall ones from olive trees. yummy!

your front porch looks great, love them lit up. had to laugh at your light pile – looks very familiar. at least you could FIND your lights – our tree lights are missing in action and I could NOT find these cheapy lights anywhere at the local stores this year……
