Recently, I decided to paint the stone behind our bar, fireplace, and around our pool.
With all the time at home lately, isn’t EVERYONE getting house projects done? Cuz’ what else is there to do! LOL #covid19
You can see a little of the stone behind our bar is done already (below.) It was super quick and easy, Ava and I actually did it in under an hour. And I loved it so we kept going to the fireplace.
This is what the fireplace looked like before.
I called our local Sherwin-Williams and told them I was getting ready to paint some stone on the outside of our house. This was the primer they suggested I use.
I wanted a slightly weathered look so I only lightly brushed the paint onto the wall, careful not to fully coat it. This is in a very sheltered area in the front of our house so it won’t take a beating from rain or sunshine.
And here’s the final product!
I love how it brightens up the entire space!
Here’s a timelapse of the entire project!
