What’s new at my house…

(my kitchen 7 years ago)

I had a designer tell me once that there is an old Indian proverb which says “House done; man dies”.

Thank goodness my house is still “evolving”.

(my kitchen tonight)

After 10 years…..we just got new bar stools off of Craigslist. I feel like a grown up!!!!!

And I have almost forgiven Craigslist for all of it’s weirdness.

What’s new at your house?

Love the barstools. I’ve been looking for some similar to those! What did you do to the cabinetry in your kitchen? It looks like maybe a stain over the white paint?

I don’t know about new but, I’ve just found 2 lamps, and a side table of some sort. All needs a little work

I hear paint fairies have transformed our dining room hutch and buffet while I have been on a little vacay in Utah! Can’t wait to see it when I get home… Honestly, I’m going to need a little cheer! To all the ladies that don’t live near Jennifer… Be jealous! 🙂

Love craigslist. They complete the bar area and are just perfect and you didn’t have to pay full price! Love the cabinet change by the way.

I don’t know what I’d do if my home was EVER finished! Every home I’ve lived in since I was 19, has been “a work in progress” as long as I lived there. I do hope to soon get to a point where my FOs out-weigh my WIPs though.

Oh how beautiful!!!!! Wow! I love your kitchen and the stools are to die for!!! Great find!

What’s new at my house? I just did up my 15 yr. old daughter’s little corner of the world at our house. I surprised her with it. She was SO thrilled when she got here for her visit with us this week. (happy new mama tears)

She is such a joy I loved doing it for her and for very little cash!

I love the changes. Beautiful. At our house…What’s NOT new is the easier question to answer! Three years on August 15th we got the house and there is not one room that hasn’t had some dramatic change. And we are still going strong! YAY!

    I love those stools.
I can’t say I ever heard that saying. That must explain why we move everytime a house gets to being done.

BTW- I left an award for you back at my blog.
