Cream Nightstand - Painted Endtable Jennifer AllwoodThis may have been the world’s ugliest end table. So ugly in fact, that these are the only “Before” shots that I can find of it.

My darling husband found it at a thrift store for me for $2.99. He had “some ideas” on how to make it cuter. God Bless ‘Em cuz it was u-g-l-y!

He added cute little feet things…..

You can find many styles of bun feet to add and elevate furniture like these feet here.  They really elongate the piece and keep it from looking so blocky and bulky and from ANOTHER DECADE.

Genius!

They are super easy to install.

I primed it one day with about 12 other pieces of furniture. Then painted it cream and glazed it. In fact, this is my most popular paint finish and top-selling cabinet tutorial which you can get here – Cream Cabinets with Glaze.

Bye-bye ugly thrift store/grandma’s basement piece!

It sold on my garage sale this fall with no problem at all.

I wonder if it was the cute little feet things that did it??
