Spring wreaths hate me.

Every stinkin’ time I get a beautiful wreath on the front door…..Mother Nature wrecks it.

Seriously….this wreath was beautiful last week. But I thought I’d be cute and put it on the outside of our front door.

Forgetting about that little thing called “rain”.

And “wind”.

Now, in the words of my friend Kristin……..it looks like “a sad, wet flamingo”.

Seriously, what is it with me and spring wreaths?????

Do you remember this post from the last spring wreath I made???

It was adorable…..

Until the heat hit it.

And in the words of the the wicked witch on the Wizard of Oz…..it was “melting….melting”…..

Do me a favor and someone please save me from myself next spring.

Oh no!! that last one made me laugh a little though. It was so beautiful to start off!!!

I wonder if you sprayed it with some sealer if it would make a difference? Maybe you already did that 🙂

I giggled too at the last one. No solutions from me, but keep trying.

As soon as a saw this post in my feed — with the droopy soggy PINK! …I remembered the ‘yellow- it was melting!’… It made me giggle. I’m sorry for your plight.
Or is BLIGHT… you have Spring Wreath Blight. I don’t know what the cure is… but you got it bad!

how funny. Isn’t that how the world works. Something looks real great but when real life hits it, it doesn’t seem so practical anymore.

Hah! that’s great! I remember the one from last year, and that the pink flamingo would start to molt and suffer a similar fate.

Too funny! And, I’m sorry, but your friend is right. That sucker looks positively ill….And it was great!

oh- well – in the snow coming this weekend, it may have looked woefully out of place.

I think you should keep this one – you could use it as a signal – hang it outside when “mamma is havin a bad day so everyone is gonna have a bad day” – then as your husband pulls up at night, he has a clue what he’s walking into!

Oh my goodness. That yellow wreath cracks me up again fresh every time you post it. And the pink one just makes it better.

Yeah, I hung my spring wreath above my mantel – too much wind, rain, snow for it outside! Sorry about your flamingo.
