We recently updated my son Easton’s bedroom with new rustic-industrial bedroom furniture and a wood plank wall (which you can see here).
And Mr. Magic built him some wall hooks from galvanized steel for his book bag and coat (which you can see here) .
Well those hooks prompted me to want some hooks in the bathroom as well for towels and whatnot.
But then I started thinking, why couldn’t we make a double toilet paper holder because seriously, with 3 kids…. my toilet paper holders are ALWAYS empty in this house. You moms feel my pain, right?
Also, I hate all of our old porcelain tp holders. Yuck. They literally must be cut out of the wall!
So Mr Magic removed this one which in turn left a huge hole.
So we decided to attach the tp holder to some of the leftover wood pieces from Easton’s bedroom wall.
It covered the hole in the wall.
Plus this way we can take it with us when we move as well!
And here is how it turned out! Isn’t that the cutest EVER?

The real challenge will be to see how long it takes for me to walk in their bathroom and both rolls be empty. God bless it.
Because I know you will ask, you can get their new arrow shower curtain here. (and don’t forget to get a clear liner as well! This is an 84″ curtain and we bought 2… one to be pushed to each side of their shower!)
If you are interested in making your own industrial toilet paper holder…. here is WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Looks great! 😀 Pinned it.
I love this! Plus, it is a totally stylish way to display two rolls at a time! Thanks for sharing your awesome project with us at Merry Monday! I’m going to see if I can attach one to the side of our vanity. 🙂
I don’t normally gravitate to the industrial look but I LOVE this duel tp holder. It was smart to add a second roll holder. As a mom of three kids I can totally understand the empty toilet paper roll frustration. Thanks for posting the pics of the metal pieces you used. 🙂
