My mother is one of the best bakers you will ever meet. One of my favorite recipes from our childhood is banana bread, and we literally make it all the time because we always buy bananas and they tend to go bad before we ever get around to eating them! As you know, super ripe bananas are PERFECT for banana bread. So, Mr. Magic has totally perfected this recipe and the whole family loves it. We’ve made it HUNDREDS of times, as you can see how dirty the 4 x 6 recipe card is. Lol.
There is NOTHING better than a warm piece of banana bread slathered with butter. Hope you enjoy!!!!

Ingredients
- 1 stick Butter We use salted butter, softened but not melted.
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 tbsp. Water
- 1 tsp. Vanilla flavoring (extract)
- 2 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. Baking soda
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 3-4 Ripe bananas
- Chopped walnuts Not necessary but we like adding nuts to our banana bread!
- Cooking spray
